Life changes through the years and brings in new perspectives. Luckily, Kevin Mead was able to acquire this 2007 Chevy Silverado to keep up with the changing times.

As his family grows so did the space needed and this fit the bill perfectly. Kevin found this truck needing some updating but the bones were all there. Family road trips to shows country wide was to be the goal.First off, he changed the wheels over to a set of 26’ Intro Twisted Vista’s to fit the paint scheme and update the look of the truck.

To stop the new 26 inch rollers, he upgraded the brake system all the way around to make it more drivable. Dozens of hours of cleanup and maintenance things to make it reliable for family road trips.

The truck was already body dropped and on a solid bag job with a back half 3 link setup and a Phat Phabz front kit. Accuair handles all the air management needs along with a new pair of Viair compressors.

Lee Hemmeter from LH Custom interiors did an awesome job on the seats. Followed byJohn Lyons and Kevin knocking out some updates and clean up work throughout the interior.

The truck needed to sound as good as it looked so Kevin installed a full Hertz mids and highs setup to all four doors. Painted dash, door pods and center console parts tie in the paint job to the interior nicely with a matching billet flame wheel to top it all off.

New Headlights, taillights, mirrors, HD front end, a custom one-off Grant Kustoms front bumper, and a fully shaved exterior give the exterior a clean appearance to showcase the paint job.

The 10 year old paint job done by Cole Stevens and Ike Ray has held up well through the years with a classic flame theme that stands apart from the rest over the Arrest Me Red color.

Bed was finished with a full sheetmetal bed floor that’s been bed-lined in a matching red color by Bullet Liner.So far Kevin has enjoyed taking many trips with the family all over the country showing his young boys what minitruckin is all about.

Many more mods and changes still to come he says but the main goal of this truck is to always be drivable to take the family where they want to go.
